Russell made a great point today, though one I believe we must take with a grain of salt because it is too damned counterintuitive.

Russell stated, quite sensibly, that China's outsized output is deflationary when measured against global demand and China's exports.

I take this an extra inch and think it is positive for the USD. And for China's outsized USD reserves.

There has to be something wrong with this line of thought.
