I agree with you that we can certainly harm the earth. I also agree that most the laws regarding pollution have had a salutative effect.

But if global warming is not a scam, the people behind it shouldn't act like scammers.

Real simple the data should be available to anyone who wants it and the computer code and other supporting documentation should liekwise be available.

That is my understanding of how science is conducted these alarmists seem to think you need to go to court to get the data. I am shocked that anyone who calls themselves a scientist would accept research from a person or organization that refused to make it data and methodologies public, the the alarmists don't provide the information, and they demonize their opponents. This is how politics is conducted not science.
