It looks that way.

But the reality is that when their tax-and-spend margin drops to a mere 200% of of the last Republican president, they get worried.

Tax-and-spend is how they buy their way into power. IF they can't out do the Rs by 2:1, they're in danger of losing the power.

What would you have done differently? No bailouts and big tax cuts? Remember Bush started the bailouts.
