"Republicans, like everyone else, would love for everyone to have a free ride. But out government simply isn't capable of delivering it."

Asswipe, every other developed country on Earth does it, but it's hardly a "free ride" - they TAX to pay for it. They don't blow their treasure on dumbass wars and ridiculously bloated militaries - they RETURN it to their PEOPLE in services. It's time we CAUGHT UP in this country.

Look at Medicare. After years of tax increases, it is flat broke. After only 45 years in existence.

Which proves my point...you side can't deliver ANY alternative to an intractable problem (by that I mean health care for the elderly), so you are cynically content with pointing out that the current one is underfunded (my word for broke)...while in the same sentence you are very likely to point out to us that, in order to keep costs down, Medicare pays doctors inadequately, under obvious cost containment pressure, and that if we expand it by allowing other to BUY into it, we'll break the backs of docs and hospitals. Why don't you stop contradicting yourself and try coming up with a solution for once in your useless burdensome existence.
