randy, I got the Vector Vest value for the DJIA from their
stand-alone program. Purchased it for a 5-week trial (with
daily downloads) for $30. Understand they offer the trial
for $20 now. If you have the time to use it, I recommend it.
I am not sure yet if I'll continue for $50 per month. I like
the feature that gives a value for each stock best. Their
buy and sell signals are simplistic. AMAT is a sell now because
it's down. Other stocks are buy because they're up. VV has
extensive screening capabilities. You can screen, for example,
for the industry group that is the most undervalued, then find
the safest/cheapest/fastest growing stock in the group. It also
has a weekly list of stocks featured in IBD, so you can see
their value.

I don't know if you can get the DJIA value on the web site.
Also, some other DOW valuations I've seen disagree with VV.
