Tom,

what is your near term view on the market direction ?

Majority feels we need to re-test the low and it is important the low must hold.

But as we know the market has the ability to frustrate the greatest number of people ...

I read in NYT Birniyi said Tuesday the majority of buying on any stock are for lots of 1000 or smaller, and funds are selling. Wonder if small guys use up all their powder and this market drops again, what would happen ?

TT I didnt buy JBIL, DELL, AOL, YHOO etc.. when ever i see a stock run up 2-3 points each day for weeks, thats not natural. People just dont invest that way. OXHP cant be compared to much, fear causes a lot of emotions which make people very irrational. If a stock rises quite a bit without the fundamentals supporting it then its not a good long term investment but good for a scalp. Right now I am looking to find some long term holdings, I didnt a few months ago cause most things were over valued and getting more and more so. Manipulation high or low is the same thing. But there comes a time/limit when it stops and gives the little guys a crew cut, thats when exehubrance and irrationality should stop. At the low I think this is it, but I dont go for the dow 10k by next year crap either.
