Let's hope they don't hype the market and make some guys think they are abnormal when there is really nothing wrong with them. The problem with conditions like P.E. is there is a wide range of normal response, no defining line between normal and abnormal, and it is emotionally loaded. So, it is relatively easy for marketers to convince some people they have a problem that needs medical attention, when really they don't.

Like some of those commercials for depression: "Do you ever feel sad or blue?, Do you wish you had more energy? If so, you might have depression and should ask your doctor about our antidepressant." Almost everybody could answer yes to these questions, but only a small percentage of them are medically depressed.

The P.E. drug J&J has up for approval(Priligy) is a spray on combination of two common, generic local anesthetics (lidocaine and prilocaine)--the same thing you get in the dentists office. I think it would be easy to compound them. Also, there have been OTC creams available for some time that do the same thing--numb 'the unit'.
