LOL. you don't want to know how often i use that. which has nothing to do with it. was simply counting recs as a test. all in the vein, of leaving this place SI after all these years. just wanted to see, since this place had such an upset, what would happen if i fed it, some great thinking, from a superb guy. as we move into the new decade, i'm deciding, if that means i should move on. graduation time from this beloved web site where so much and so little has happened over these many years. two crashes should have weeded out the weak from the strong, and yet................... the puddles remain. i'm reconfiguring everything. and reconsidering everything. and that includes 10's of thousands of posts i've made on this web site, be they spurious, to the point, learning curve, or just pure fun. and it has been a wonderful place to do all these things. for once, the inventors of this place get my total applause, and the caretakers of that idea, too, since in the end, they came to their senses, and did not ruin, the seeds that bore the most fruit. race car bob, gets that much credit, to be sure. and conservative dave, even more so, because he kept an open mind, to which i suspect, he benefited more than he will ever say. but i'm inclined to leave. and push the off button. will say goodbye when i make that bow out final. for the rest of you guys............ get off your tushes, and quite towel slapping each other, and focus. otherwise, you are going to fuck yourselves far deeper than anything you complain about. make your own decision. best J
