Asians don't live in the Far North and Eskimos kept their dark hair so they can be seen on the ice and snow.

Have you heard of Harbin in Mongolia? Wow, that is a cold country and is located far north. Mongolians have dark hair.

PS If you have never been to Harbin, plan your next trip to that city. They city celebrates winter with giant ice carvings that defy any imagination!
