The idea of taxing the rich and giving to the poor seems to always appeal to the psuedo-populists. People looking for power will always search for shortcuts. It appears at this time that the Global Warming Hoax was just such a shortcut for the apostles of Climate Alarm. While the idea of polluting the earth with nuclear waste is not perfectly appealing, nuclear is the next generation cheap clean power. Recycling of spent rods keeps the waste to a minimum.
