wow you've been there. yes, it is a 'traditional' holler. a narrow gap a few miles long. with two wood bridges crossing the creeks. planks just a bit wider than your tires, so you have to be careful how you hit them. i am eternally grateful to my father for waiting till he got to texas to marry. fresh blood and genes. plus i get to be a texan. now i must rush off. i ran back to the house on the mountain to get my vacumn cleaner. when i got to the holler today one of the boys was in the house busily cleaning. there's something to be said for leaving one's door open.
