Today's editorial is excellent. I'm reminded of a conversation I once had in Little Rock, Ark., about a decade ago. I was talking to a couple prominent members of the community and they were explaining how folks in Arkansas were a bit miffed with Clinton that he never brought home a presidential quality piece of pork. "Where's our airforce base? Where's our Johnson Space Center? Arkansas is a poor state and we expect our politicians to bring home the goods." Clinton ultimately brought home the Colonial Clintonsburg Themepark and Library, so they got something.

Well, it seems to me that Chicago politicians have a very, very similar attitude about having their sons send back Washington one piece at a time. And in fairness, Obama tried to deliver the Olympics to Chicago, but that didn't work out. So instead he's shipping off a bunch of jihadi terrorists. It's kind of funny, in a sad way.

An enterprising soul might start selling "Rio Got the Olympics and All I Got Were These Lousy Terrorists" t-shirts.
