What it really is is a call for liberals to support this god-awful legislation, no matter HOW BAD IT IS.

It is the Obama, "I'll sign ANYTHING" pledge. "Just send me a bill. I don't give a shit what's in it. I just don't want to be seen as weak."

Vote it down. Then, the Rs can (and they will) come out and say, "Okay, we're ready to start over with a seat at the table. You tried it your way, to socialize the health care system, and you couldn't do it. Now, we'll make a joint effort and come up with good legislation that actually IMPROVES the situation".

The reason this legislation needs to be stopped is it is one-sided, containing only the socialist view. Legislation a Bernie Sanders or Barack Obama or Nancy Pelosi could love. Even after you take the public option out there is so much big government garbage in it it would be unconscionable to pass it.

Remember. Just because YOU are a socialist doesn't mean we ALL are.

When it comes to metrics reporting on political issues, I've found this site to be very reliable and accurate in their assessments.

Yes, Nate's the best! He started out with a rating system for baseball.....eventually transitioning into politics.

This is a hoot! Bernanke is a Republican who is not the kind of R in favor these days in the GOP......soooooo.........all year he's been condemned and ridiculed by Rs.

Now he's Man of the Year.

The GOP is so far from the mainstream its almost laughable.

Ben Bernanke, Time magazine's 'person of the year'
