Gigondas and St. Joseph are from the Rhone region.

Gigondas bills themselves as an inexpensive alternative to Chateaux Nuef du Pape. It is made from (drum roll please) Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre. All three are present in many CNduP wines.

Saint Joseph is a a Northern Rhone wine. The wines I have drank from it tend to be thick, heavy and substantial.

It is a mistake to miss the enjoyment of rose based on some old experiences. There are some very fine roses in the world. Try one while eating olives!

If you come across one you might try a Sancerre Rose. One of the best wines I've ever had.

Grape variety : 100% Pinot Noir

Serving suggestions :

Our Sancerre Rosé makes a delightful aperitif - especially enjoyable in the summer.

While awaiting summer, enjoy our rosé with meals prepared with a cream base, e.g., chicken in a cream sauce. Also makes a delicious companion to international cuisine: Italian, Asian, North African, Indian….

A good rose should be drunk at nearly room temperature IMO.
