His attitude toward the South is very strange. One gets the idea he may have never been in the South at all.

Don't get me wrong - I wouldn't want to live in Boston or DC or Philly or NYC, either. But I at least have no objection to visiting these places.

Tejek seems like it causes his PTSD to flare up just THINKING about the South.

I think he's afraid he'll see a lynching.

I got my hate from posting on this thread and seeing how some southerners view the country.
