we are a continent and ocean away from our interventions.

We're all only less than 12 hours away from one another, depending on the airline.. ;0)

And if our enemies have access to ICBMs, you can reduce that time to 30 minutes.

But all it takes is the release of a biological agent to kill thousands to millions of people.

But more importantly, it takes an enemy that is so fanatical that it believes "martyring" some of their own people in the pursuit of their cause is worth the price.

Bottom line, those oceans do not protect us any longer.
