This is America, if the middle class dies, we are screwed. As I mentioned earlier, we must fix our problems now, Afghanistan and the world can wait.

Listen.. this administration has exacerbated this recession far more than was necessary. They DELIBERATELY CHOSE to permit unemployment to rise so that they could pass their inane health care bill. Since most people receive health care via their employment, the more unemployed people there are, the more people who need public health care coverage, right?

Obama COULD have IMMEDIATELY offered tax credits to corporations and small businesses last spring to hire and retain employees. That would have kept people in a position to continue paying down their debt rather than defaulting.

But no.. now we're sitting here with 10-20% unemployment (depending on who's numbers you believe).

So it ISN'T just "afghanistan and the world" that are the problem, it's THIS ADMINISTRATION'S ECONOMIC POLICIES.

More money was spent propping up the "fat cat" bankers (Obama's words) than in supporting the consumer/taxpayer who is saddled with the debts. Obama spent well over a Trillion dollars in one fell swoop last spring. It's taken 9 years to spend that much in BOTH Iraq and Afghanistan.

Furthermore, when you have millions of illegal aliens permitted, if not encouraged, to compete with both lower and middle class labor in this country.

So you need to refocus on the true culprit for the destruction of the middle class..

And it isn't from spending relatively paltry amounts (compared to other government spending) defending this country.
