JMP notes that as best they can discern, Intel is not at risk of significant financial penalties through the FTC's anticompetetive lawsuit, but its product roadmaps, its approach to licensing, and its practices surrounding bundling and volume discounting practices are at risk. In its conference call, the co also did not rule out the potential for other follow-on actions by other govs or agencies. While this development is a clear negative for Intel, they anticipate that the ultimate driver of INTC shares will be earnings growth and upside that we continue to expect on emerging server upgrade cycles, cloud computing and virtualization, and the broadening global adoption of mobile computing. Their tgt is $28. fwiw

I feel a disturbance in the 'force' is coming down the pike. Seriously, we are at or close to an inflection point of some sort. Where will it manifest is the question?
