That might explain the increased incidences of cancer.

We've been getting really busy with EMR implementations.

I think this is going to be a huge disaster. They've set this deadline of October if you want to qualify for the full payment of 44K or 65K per provider, yet, these systems takes months to implement properly.

There is not enough calendar time for all these systems to get implemented over the coming 10 months, IMO -- at least, not PROPERLY.

I can imagine we're going to see a LOT of clinics trying to move forward with these systems before they're fully capable of handling the additional workload, before the training is properly done, and most importantly, without appropriate security measures such as HIPAA and backup procedures.

This could get ugly.
