Why do you think it is a sell out to insurance firms and drugs companies? Please advise.

The Senate has changed the original plan such that it is better to just scrap the entire thing and start fresh. The WH is caving in to the drugs companies by disallowing to import similar drugs from Canada albeit they are much cheaper. It is a shame that we are the richest country in the world and yet we don't even have a system that takes care sick people who cannot afford any insurance coverage. Why invent the wheel for health care? Learn the system from other European countries which have universal health care. Choose the one that best fit for our country. And start from there.
