Those of us in the freedom movement need to take the high ground in political debates like these.

That would be a welcome change from the endless list of apocalyptic insults and conspiracies hurled around by that crowd in the last year.

Please let us know if those changes actually happen anywhere.

Nice sentiments; well stated. But it would help if it were balanced--there are no end of similar if not worse comparisons from the right. And/or addressed the issues on his own side of the political fence more directly.

There's no doubt we are in a period of overwrought excessive wicked political hyperbole. But non balanced essays like this one, won't help.

Watched Mike McKinnon, the former Bush pr guy, on Rachel Maddow, last night address such hyperbole from the right. Very effective. I suspect there are such from the left as well, Now that's effective.
