mm, I think this is similar to saying that we should have private companies like Blackwater etc. run our Defence instead of the Pentagon. I do not see a strong case made against the Govt running public health care in ight of the insurance companies' failure to do the same by wy of dropping health care coverage of sick folks so as to protect their profit margins etc.

Let us not forget that besides the US, the European Govt. was largely responsible for pulling out Europe from the ravages of WWII. Govt does have a role to play.

I will like it when Reid borrows one of Pelosi's balls and removes Joe from all his committees. He's independent...Dems owe him nothing. Beanball time.
Reid should probably keep the ball; Pelosi already has more than she was born with.
