We all agree and at the time of voting for him knew that he was going to be handed down a big mess. His support was due to the fact that he had the leadership in him to set things right. But he bungled it big time. He did not anticipate the toxicity of the opposition. He wanted health care but made no preparation for taking the case to the people. Consequently, the opposition ambushed him during summer. Then it was too late.

On afghanistan, he bungled in that this is his second troop increase. He has not told the nation why the first troop increase failed to meet its objective. A general is expected to fight a war and will obviously advocate that the war be kept alive. I am left wondering what the US military is engaged in the internal affairs of Afghanistan such as nation building when they are prohibited from doing so in this country.

To me, it is looking more like Hillary in 2012 not because it is looking more like Palin from the Republican side but because of what I call "Bill nostalgia". That guy is fantastic even today.

But again, this country os built on hope, hope of those who set sail and discovered this land more than 200 years ago. So I will still continue to hold out my hope for Obama's success and with that the success of this nation.
