This termination means that SGI will finish the speed up of the r10k, at which time they will divest themselves of MTI and go with Intel (probably Merced).

Trying to boost your INTC investment, eh, Paul? Why on earth would SGI give up MIPS when the R12k is almost ready for systems now and Merced won't be out of vapor stage until 2002, if ever?

What you're trying to do is unethical at best, and possibly illegal. I really hope that your 'friend' at SGI that's violating their NDA is one of those that is asked to leave.
