James, Joey, Darrell, thanks very much for your swift responses. Was I off-base on any of my summary facts/assumptions? Please feel free to correct me (Maxwell too), I certainly won't be offended, I want to get all the facts straight.

Off topic: James, I think ASND is very cheap at the current price. I don't have much cash to take advantage though. I think I would prefer to buy some CYMI first before adding to my ASND position.

The Scientific American article you mentioned sounds like interesting reading. I couldn't find it, however, in the online issue of SA (http://www.sciam.com/). Any clues as to where I could find it, or will I have to buy the paper copy?
