I was listening to the radio on my way in to work today. Some caller decried the way health care reform had "become politicized". I thought that was such a brain-dead comment. An activity conducted by the government, debated and perhaps passed in congress... Its inherently an automatically political. The only way to depoliticize it is to keep it out of the governments hands. Of course the caller somehow thought that quickly passing, without much debate, a huge expansion of government was somehow not "political"...
