Governments always attempt stimulus to deal with the consequences
of a financial crisis. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it
doesn't and then countries blow up instead.

The latter is pretty bad.

We had Dubai, Spain, Greece in December. That pushed
the dollar up, of course, cause these countries are not
USA.

We'll probably see more of this in 2010.

Look at that November 1978 gold crash from 245 to 193. Geez.
Of course, it was trading at 850 a year later. -g-



1977 Nov. crash was pretty big too. Gold just loves to crash -g-

A little byuying after a very big drop.

The long term fundamentals for gold are terrific, but there will be some pressure on the POG, IMO, in the short term.
