01 Communique Signs OEM Agreement with Zoom Telephonics
COMMUNICATE! LITE, An Abridged Version Of 01 Communique's Popular All-In-One
Communication Software, Will Now Be Bundled With Most Zoom Faxmodems
TORONTO, Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- 01 Communique Laboratory Inc. today announced an OEM agreement with Zoom
Telephonics (Nasdaq:ZOOM), a leading manufacturer of faxmodems and other wide area network PC communications
products. The newly formed agreement will include the integration of 01 Communique's COMMUNICATE! LITE software
with most of Zoom's faxmodem products. COMMUNICATE! LITE is an abridged version of COMMUNICATE!, the
company's popular all-in-one communication software package for Windows 95/NT/3.x. COMMUNICATE! bundles five
separate applications -- telephone answering and speakerphone, fax, Internet e-mail, contact management and data
communication -- under one program icon for maximum ease-of-use.
Zoom will ship both 32-bit and 16-bit versions of COMMUNICATE! LITE on a CD-ROM to support Windows 95, Windows
NT and Windows 3.x. Customers without a CD-ROM drive will be able to download a copy of the software from the web or
request floppy disks.
Zoom plans to include COMMUNICATE! LITE with most of the company's faxmodem products for Windows, including
most of its PC Card and ISDN products. Zoom will begin shipping products with COMMUNICATE! LITE in the fourth
quarter of 1997.

features including the message-waiting LED on Zoom's external faxmodems, and detection of remote caller hang-up for
Zoom's voice faxmodems.
