At least you are finally admitting that we backed the extremists in order to sucker punch the Soviets.

Hey... the Pakistanis "pulled the strings" of the Mujahidin in Afghanistan. We just financed it until the Soviets withdrew and left it to the Pakistanis to fulfill their own interests.

And it was the Pakistanis who created the Taliban to protect their smuggling route and exploit Afghanistan's resources.

So what we "backed" was Pakistan's interests, not our own. We just bowed out and did nothing but abandon the Afghan people to their fate.

And that's what you, GR, and Sarman, want us to do again, except to the whole world. Just abandon them to their fates at the hands of the militants..
