I guy I worked with wrote some programs for the Predator at General Atomics. His code had the Predator fly to a list of GPS coordinates and drop something at each one. He had just come out of the startup where we worked together, and had been required to hit tough deadlines. He couldn't BELIEVE working for General Atomics! He got real nervous about his deadline there, went to his boss about coding his project - which he hadn't been given the go-ahead for. His boss told him not to sweat it. He said, if they missed the deadline, they'd just get more money and a new one! He just worked there a year, then went to working for another start-up.
