yes, toronto does have many good points.
i know cuz i grew up there, or on the fringe.

but my kids grew up in vancouver and we have
this:

which is pretty awesome for vancouver considering
how mild it is.

the rink was closed for a while, but it opened again
this year, for the dreaded (my opinion) olympic games.
