Oh my, the snow is at least two feet and increasing still. I just took pictures------envision a patio table with no snow and an umbrella in the center. Now envision the snow increasing from the top of the table upward to the umbrella--------earlier the snow had just hit the bottom of the umbrella about 20 inches, now the bottom of the umbrella has disappeared. Global cooling is getting brutal tonight. Airports closed-----------Virginia has hundreds of trucks ready to start clearing----people warned to stay home and not to attempt travel. Few people have snow blowers which is needed for this snow-----most are shoveling and will make the chiropracters rich when this one clears. This is comparable to the 1996 snowstorm just after XMAS.
