the pain is coming soon. pain makes people face things and change them. this will be an education, but it's going to be ugly.

i have said before that keynesian 'economics' (which enables socialism), is responsible for more death and suffering than both world wars. i know it's seen as an outlandish statement by many, but i see it as true.

just because you're not a slave, doesn't mean that you're free. i'm certainly not a slave, but don't feel free. even if you renounce your citizenship, they made the law say that it doesn't take effect for six years. during that time you must continue to pay income taxes.

you can't take the money that belongs to you out of the country beyond $600,000. you can't give members of your family more than $12,000 a year with incurring a heavy tax.

there are armed guards on the exit side of the border crossings now asking citizens questions as they attempt to leave the country. it's starting to resemble the former east germany.

i really feel sick inside and i'm glad there are some people such as you that detest what is going on.

i thought that i had master the monster of individual financial independence... in the events of the last 15 years or so, i thought i could navigate any future situation brought to my door step... but i never in my worst nightmare envisioned what has happened in the last two years... and now, as this multiple-head monster seems to grow and multiply much faster than one can possibly mount a defense against... it seems that the best strategy is to retreat where the monster cannot reach.

at 25 that would have been not only not a problem, but a thrilling challenge... today is a bit different, but yet, regardless of the age, this is the only defense that remains as the only rational solution... the risks are the same...no action is what the directors of this horror movie expect from most. therefore, the worst i could do is freeze in fear of the unknown... i cannot do that, because whatever the unknown is, it cannot be worse than the frustrating and destructive certainty of the future staying put...
