Fair enough. It should be fairly simple to do. Upper and Lower Control Limits are defined as plus or minus 3 sigma over and under the mean for a range.

So if I had the temperature data over any period you wanted me to look at, I could calculate that. In addition, we could see if any yearly average was an outlier or represents a meaningful new trend. If it's an outlier, it means it falls either above or below the UCL or LCL. If there are 6 such outliers in a row, then that would indicate we should start checking to see if a new trend is underway.

I'll root around and see if I can find some yearly global temperature averages to use to calculate this. If you have a dataset that you trust and want me to use it, let me know.

Now, if I provide that information to you, will you then provide your own data analysis to prove your case, namely, that the globe is not on a warming trend?

BTW, this is statistics 101. I'm sure the scientists do far more advanced statistical analysis than this, but let's keep it simple for purposes of this thread. However, I'm not sure why you guys think all the world's scientists are incompetent frauds. That's not a very constructive or reality-based position to take.
