It's pretty hard to start a new tradition in his family - they came with a bunch of their own.

Tom has taken over Easter and instilled his own traditions there, but those will only last as long as JXN is a kid.

He puts up a landing strip on the roof (with a large arrow) for Santa and the reindeer to find the house and land on it.

My dad took a family picture every year at Thanksgiving that was then sent out as a Christmas card. I think I have about 50 of them.

I tried to do that for Tom & Lisa's family and all their aunts, uncles and cousins but it's become impossible to get the to pose for the picture, so I pretty much quit trying.

My sister has had a Mother Daughter Gift Exchange every year for 30 years that started when my niece had just started school. Most of the same friends still attend with a few more added. This is this year's:
