See my recent posts where I took data from NASA and calculated the Upper and Lower Control Limits. Does this satisfy you? Control Limits are a statistical construct that helps us determine if something unusual is happening. As you can see from the charts I posted, although the last 130 years of data is clearly within control, there is also very clearly a warming trend. It would be interesting if we could see these types of charts for the last 800,000 years of ice core data. I wonder what that would show.
