why the Muslim religion is the fastest growing in the world today. Religious growth is a third world phenomenon. The big push behind Islam is the Wahhabi money from the Saudis who are spreading the most virulent form of Islam. Christian Missionaries tend to be from our World. Muslim missionaries from the local third world. A lot of third world people have little or no problem with a social system that we find abhorrent. Women as slaves is an easy sell to a third world farmer.

Bill did a good job of explaining why it is growing so fast. My question is why the West's Left holds such an evil and oppressive religion in such high regard. Islam no longer has just equal status to Christianity, but seems to have higher status. Why are Western Leftists supporting this? Just for the oppression of women you would think they would be on the right side of this issue.

It makes no sense at all why a religion as duplicitous as Islam, which denies women equal rights, which teaches hate and revenge, attacks innocent people for no reason at all, flies planes into buildings, and seeks special treatment everywhere, should be growing. 1. High birth rate of population following this faith would be the main reason.
