Thank you very much. I also ran across another item that pertains more to their ink jet line. Over the last year (1995 to 1996) they have gained market share on HP and Epson in ink jet.

There is a new laser cartridge that employs an Excimer laser to make the holes for the ink cartridge, although Lexmark touts that this is the highest pixel per inch ink jet on the market, Lyra (Hard Copy Observer) indicates that is an "average" printer at best.

To the extent that an Lexmark employ can be objective, how "technologically" advanced is this new technology or is it marketing hype???

In addition, I have read many analyst reports that say Lexmark suffers from a lack of brand identity -- what are they doing proactively to change their presence in the market place??
