If you were really pragmatic, you would see that this cost is part of the cost of providing medicine, cost that is probably the most unproductive of all costs in medicine.

One has to decide what is more important - being a blind party hack or a pragmatist, seeking results.

A blind Dem party hack would leave the cost untouched, knowing a big chunke of it will return as Dem party campaign contribution from trial lawyers.

A pragmatist would want to see this cost minimized.

I take it you are now firmly in the former category...
