Sounds like a good argument why we should not alienate them and give them a good cause to get radicalized...now how do you suppose we achieve that?

Sounds like you must have a plan, since you've arrived at the astounding conclusion that alienating and radicalizing them is bad.

So tell us Sun Tzu.. Tell us how to avoid radicalizing a population undergoing a huge baby boom, governed by oppressive and corrupt and certainly not interested in recognizing individual rights and freedoms?

I guess you think the "status quo" is sustainable?

For how long?

I can deal with the petty dictators and use a "carrot and stick" form of diplomacy with them. And I can deal with people who prefer heaven on earth by offering to assist them with development and progressive change.

However, I cannot see how we're going to use the same policy with religious fanatics attempting to usher in the return of the Mahdi, and who seek paradise through martyrdom.

All I can see from you is pointing out the obvious. But I see no solution that is realistic in the face of this religious militancy.

What's your plan of action for militant religious fanaticism? Just accept the fact that they are going to kill a few million of us and ignore them?

How do the Chinese deal with Falun Gong and Christians, neither of which attempt to use violence to spread their religious perspectives?
