Of course I do...the point of the conversation was not this...and in fact I even agree that some form of control would be beneficial. I don't agree however that it's the sweeping panacea the republicans make it out to be. IOW, it's not replacement for true reform.

On that, I agree. It is not a replacement for reform, but it is a necessary component.

Harry Reid and Dems think otherwise (Dem party contribution before reform).

No Republican I know of has treated it as a panacea or replacement for reform.

But it is clear that no serious reform can totally ignore the issue.

Had the current legislation provided for tort reform there is a very good chance there would have been bipartisan support for the bill rather than this fascist approach to legislation.
