After 911 the locals I know were ashamed and embarrassed of that act and that some of their countrymen committed such an act. You may have seen some people celebrating and again be careful in how you form your world view from viewing news, especially TV news. They go for sensational and often go looking for a predetermined point of view. I remember during the gulf war the media running from person to person with inflammatory statements looking for confirmation of a point of view that was ludicrous and totally unreal. They kept going until they found someone that fit their view and that was what played. They would take hour long interviews and cut and paste together the words to totally skew what was said. Again to promote an agenda. With most issues there is a lot more complexity to the situation.

So the majority did not support 911. The 5% that I was alluding to in my first post obviously did.
