My local malls are crowded with people, but they are not carrying any shopping bags or doing much spending, maybe a little food on thier credit cards. These people are BROKE and go to the mall because it is FREE air conditioning and something to do and somewhere to hang out that doesn't cost anything. Being PACKED is not necessarily a good sign is it Vosilla? Perhaps the airlines are PACKED because there are too few planes and good airline pilots and workers to handle all the people - too few resources and increasing population demands results in declining standards of living for us CONSUMERS - I don't view that as a good thing. I saw that idiot whoophi goldberg on TV this morning bitching about how she wants free food when stranded on the runway for 8 hours while they DE-Ice the plane and all I could think was HELL - this is my freaking LIFE - if it takes them 16 hours to de-ice the plane so I don't crash and die I can be patient, but I am surrounded by fools who will trade theirs and my safety for a little expediency. "Timing is everything and opportunities are greatest in down times but hey there is always SRS, gold and guns for those who think otherwise." You know I pull no punches when ridiculing the silly goldbugs like general chen Vosilla, but we still have the same old scumbags running the titanic, there has not been a flushing out of the garbage, so I don't see how things get better, if anything, I see more hopeless pointless humans overcrowding every peaceful place I like to go to escape the madding crowds. Until I see our representative government completely reformed in a way where a few hundred congressmen can't control the destiny of the rest of us, will I have hope. 5000 federal congresspeople are a lot harder to corrupt than 500, too much power still concentrated in too few hands. Vosilla the accounting tricks still let all the banks hide the garbage, they don't want to lend, and no one with any sense wants to borrow. Even many shopping machine princesses I know are all shopped out and the only thing they want to put on thier credit cards is the next xanax prescription and are content to sit at home and watch reruns of The Hills.
