I don't know why people think about real estate at all, in the normal course of events it's not a natural thing to think about, as opposed to thinking about having sex with twin sisters ... things will be back to normal when people stop talking about it, and we're probably most of the way there given how little real estate is mentioned on this thread.

Nobody can generalize about RE. Deals were probably had at the top of the market, but more likely found now than in 2007.

But there's still a lot of pain to be felt in most areas due to artificial and unsustainable economy, standard of livings dropping, localized home prices relative to declining incomes, increasing taxes, area rents...and shadow inventory.
