Climate research has been politicized by the Right. "In these 2 areas, "scientists" operate as paid expert witnesses at trials, saying what they are hired to say." I know. The oil industry has their crew of pet 'scientists' who can be relied on to cast doubt where told to. It is a travesty, but it is part of the deal.
