If the bill becomes law you're going to get what you want, even those most people in the country don't want it.

You are laboring under some strange illusion that the bill's support has fallen because it is too radical. The bill's support has declined because the left has decided it's not strong enough. You will see this more clearly in the coming months.

This bill was crafted in precisely the same manner Saddam would have crafted it.

Unfortunately this is how business is done in DC...the GOP is no different and everyone knows it...I suppose it's futile to mention that this kind of wild exaggeration doesn't make you more credible.
