"It's amazing how positive people get after they buy some spec houses"

Ok, guilty as charged : )

Maybe it's from all the shoulder bumping they experience in the buying process vs what they read in the main street media?

Speaking of lizzie's neck of the woods, read an article the other day about how GOOG repriced employee options from the 500 area to somewhere in the low 300's last March so GOOG employees should be going on a rampage soon in the South Bay area of Ca. The article mentioned that a few other tech co's had done the same thing but did not mention names.

i wish vosilla would take a side trip up to atlanta and buy my daughters condo....

she's been trying to unload it for over a year, was unable, but decided it was a good idea to buy a house because of the first time home owner credit (husband qualified because he sold his property over 3 years ago) felt the pressure because of the november 'deadline' which no longer exist

at least she was able to rent it (net cash flow negative slightly and she's thrilled<g>)

Who is buying spec houses? You know what I do and to compare that to some techie in Silicon Valley buying $500k shacks in MLS that rent for $1500 a month is hilarious. Lots of sour grapes to go around I see these days and I'm not even talking about the bubble bagholders you guys love to crack jokes about even now. Where are the brain surgeons who pumped SRS as the best way to protect yourself or even profit from declining home values? Face it Wall Street fleeced everybody to a certain extent but it is how you move forward that matters. We all got the reset button... time to move one...
