Re: "You blame President Reagan for the debt due to the terrible economy left by the miserable failure Carter. You give Clinton credit for the economy President Bush 41 left him."

You're crazy.

I did NOTHING of the kind!

Two quick points:

1) I simply OBSERVED the true historical facts of where (what periods of time) the federal deficits were RUN UP.

It's HISTORICAL FACT. That's all it is.

2) Don't mean to 'rile you up' but, (& even though I never particularly "blamed" ANY single politician for the structural deficits), I can't leave without at least pointing one one correction that needs to be made to your remarks above... Carter didn't really leave much at all in new federal debt to his successor. At least, *nothing* on the order of what came after him! Don't know where you even got that particular bit of misinformation from....

Now... as far as "Bush 41" leaving such an all-fired "great economy" to Clinton goes, that much seems ridiculous on it's face also... given that the LAST 4 of the 12 YEARS of "Reagan/Bush" (the single term of Bush 41 in the Presidency, widely seen at the time as supposedly a 'continuation' of the Reagan/Bush two terms) produced the FASTEST RATE OF ADDITION TO THE FEDERAL DEBT IN OUR ENTIRE LIFETIMES.

Even Bush II (no 'piker' himself at adding debt) never managed to add it as fast as his father's term did.

Re: "I notice you haven't added Obama yet."

When he completes a term he goes on the list, of course! (With ALL THE OTHER PRESIDENTS since WW II that are recorded on the history books.) And, if he completes two terms like Reagan then that will be there also....
