You'll notice in the thread of conversation that I said China had proposed reducing their carbon intensity. The way they measure that is the amount of carbon emitted divided by their GDP.

So you are correct in saying they won't actually reduce their carbon. In reality, their carbon emissions will continue to rise as their economy rises, but at a slower rate. But that is better than nothing.

As far as personal attacks, I only go so far as the posters here go. I understand you may not agree with my politics. However, you should try to be more even-handed in your warnings, if you care at all about a fair and balanced thread.

Since when did telling someone they make no sense become the same thing as a personal attack? If someone has said something contradictory, then it is fair game to say that they make no sense. That is not a personal attack, but rather a statement of of an observed fact.
