andrew--here is a good summary...... from Tom on fuse thread

<<<<<It is becoming difficult to keep track of the numerous products that Fuisz is developing(about 150). Their flash dose technology isn't even their best product division. The CEFORM microsphere is the crown jewel. It can deliver most anything in microspheres with superior pharmacokinetics. For example, a salt (for seasoning) with only 40% of the sodium load. They have a deal to deliver 5 million pounds of it by years end. A cake emulsifier with superior heat tolerance and baking properties. A deal to deliver 4 million pounds to Betty Crocker by December. A veggie bar which tastes like sweet berries but has beets, carrots, and broccoli and spinach in it. Calcium supplements (for postmenopausal women) that taste like candy bars with no fat and little calories.

First come the foods, since there are regulatory delays OTC and by prescription. Then the OTC products(flash dose tylenol, ibuprofen, NUMEROUS others etc) then the prescription drugs(deals in place with American Home Products, Astra, Bayer, Boots, Bristol Myers, etc).

Let me refer you to some links with more information. . .
fuisz.com
forbes.com
and then please review postings #110, 138, 164, and 177 on this Fuisz thread.

And, by the way, Fuisz international operations are based in Ireland, which has low cost-of-living and thus low wages and a corporate income tax of only 9%. For manufacturing and distribution Fuisz has acquired:

1) Clonmel Healthcare Limited--the leading private manufacturer of pharmaceutical products in Ireland. They passes 5 independent GMP audits.
2) Pangea- Fuisz's private distribution network (consisting of thousands of independent distributors) in the U.S.
3) Istoria Farmaceutica of Italy
4) Laboratories Murat of Paris, and then there is
5) The Fuisz manufacturing plant in Chantilly Va and a second plant under construction.

And then you've got insider buying (the president bought another 100,000 shares on the open market on September 3, as well as this spring.

It is true that there is competition in the flash dose technology. R.P. Scherer and Cima both have flash dose technology. However, each of these competitive flash dose technologies is clearly inferior to Fuisz's.
